I have read through some of the discussion on this subject and as I do I think I realize that currently, BB is not in favor of allowing Tag Collections to "make" an item "sorted", but rather that an item must be placed in a collection to be considered "sorted".
If this is correct, then I would like to know if anyone has any workarounds? Currently I have enough items that belong in multiple categories (tagged with multiple tags), that to put them in a single place would not make sense. Example. I have bookmarks which are tagged with "inspiration", "design", and "web". I want to be able to find these bookmarks in a number of ways. 1) search by tag, 2) by tag collection 3) by content search.
I feel like I have too many possible "collections" to fit neatly in the collections sidebar. I prefer using the library sorting method, or the search toolbar.
Does anyone have any recommendations for the best workflow here? Currently I have a folder called Sorted which I place anything that I have added tags to, then I rely on Unsorted to be my inbox. I only make "tag" collections for the most used tags or those I want easiest access to.
(One peripheral question would be if anyone has figured out a way of assigned keystroke shortcuts to assigning certain items to a collection?)
Thanks for your help,
Matthew
