Given the spread and succes of recent programs like Journler, or the launch of new version of ancient decent software as SOHO Notes (which looks promising), I think that the coming of YJ 1.5 is near. What I can predict, based on observation of the trends of this market, is the support of smart folders, and maybe the inclusion of "groups", for winning space on the sources sidebar.
What I would really like to see, although I don't believe it is going to happen, is a "browse mode" for tags (like the browse mode in iTunes -the one that appears when you click in the "eye button"). That would be nice not just for browsing tags, but also for seeing related tags and items (and so for thinking and generating ideas...)
