I would like to simplify some my document retrieval methods and have been using tagging instead of folder hierarchies for quite some time. With OpenMeta tagging now growing more widely deployed I would like to see this incorporated in a future Yojimbo release.
For example, I use Leap 2 for managing my file systems through OpenMeta tags. I would love to be able to add Yojimbo items to the resources I can view and manage through Leap. For instance, viewing all information on an upcoming trip, from bookmarks to PDFs stored within Yojimbo, based on a shared OpenMeta tag.
Hopefully, we will see this soon. It seems that many other programs are going this way and a unified, open platform for information tagging is greatly needed.
