While using Sidekick on the iPhone, I stumbled across the following problem:
Sidekick's index.html has the meta tag <meta name="apple-mobile-web- app-capable" content="yes" /> set, which means that if you bookmark it on your home screen, it »feels like a native app«: App icon, when you launch it you get a fullscreen view without Mobile Safaris adress bar and so on.
Which is great, BUT: Web apps don't support tabs, so when I click on an item, it'll take me out of the web app and into Mobile Safari, opening a new tab.
That's annoying, anyone else experienced the same problem? Can I turn this off, haven't digged into the sidekick files but it seems there's no »target:blank;« involved. Ideas?
