Re: Slowwwwww search ----> use Notlight!!!!
Hi
Absolutely. So why bother with Yo?
The whole point was to organise stuff, but I can do that just by saving as PDFs, text, whatever, wherever in folders. I used to use Eznote under system 9 and its hot keys were great for grabbing and filing clippings.
The web>Yo feature isn¹t fast or flawless and I often have to go to Yo and edit the title because it has called it something stupid like the list of links at the top of the page.
And re those comments from Christian ' at least on older machines' - mine is a 6month old power pc G5 20" iMac 2.1Ghz with 1.5gigs of RAM with mostly 800Mb of RAM unused according to memory monitor in iStat pro!!!
What do I do ?
I use Notlight - it's brilliant. Almost perfect, just needs to demodalise the results window or allow us to command-W it.
I still use Yo for webclippings, but that¹s just habit really.
Grrrr
Best wishes Arthur Battram
