I realize that Yojimbo uses sqlite as the db backend. Does anyone have an idea of how well sqlite scales? My current YJ db is about 400MB, and I am getting ready to quadruple that this week. Other than taking a long time to sync with .mac, what other issues do I need to worry about? Will sqlite handle this without issue?
How much information from the db is loaded when YJ is loaded? In Activity Monitor, YJ seems to use the same amount of virtual memory as my db size. I just don't want to see a lot of paging, if I bring the db up to 1.5GB. My MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo has 2GB, and I run a lot of apps at once.
Does anyone on the list have an extra large db, and how well does YJ perform, as well as the rest of the system?
Also, I would love to see YJ handle any type of file, like a real junk drawer does :-)
Take care,
Bruce
