I love Yojimbo, but like a lot of you, I was having problems with .mac syncing (both for Yojimbo, and for some of my other items like Address Book). I did two things that fixed the problem. I did both of them at once, so I am not sure which one did the trick. One of the solutions came from a user forum, one came directly from .Mac tech support.
1. Open your keychain, lock it, then unlock it again. Do this on all the systems you are syncing with .Mac.
2. Change your password for .Mac (do this on the .Mac website). Apparently this forces a reset of all your syncing functions.
Hope this helps -- I'm syncing perfectly now.
Another thing I found to make Yojimbo run much more smoothly is to change my syncing schedule to hourly. Automatic had me seeing the spinning beachball way more than I wanted to.
The .Mac support is what initially sold me on Yojimbo, though I now have a growing list of other things I love about it. It's an important feature -- don't give up on getting to where you have reliable, trouble-free syncs -- it can be done!
