Help Yojimbo is trashing my Powerbook and iMac G5
Hi all!
I love the concept, however, Yojimbo has become less and less usable for me.
First, I had to disable the start up at login feature on my laptop because of the enormous delays that it was causing. Now, whenever, I want to use Yojimbo, I have to close all the other applications.
The laptop is a Powerbook: 1.67 GHz PPC G4 with 2 GB RAM, OS X 10.4.8, the workstation is an iMac G5, with 1.5 GB RAM, OS 10.4.8. I am running Yojimbo 1.4. I also use .Mac synchronization.
I have 650+ entries in the library, 30 collections and my Database.sqllite file is 205 MB. Many of these entries are PDF files.
This morning I was monitoring the application, it was using 312 MB of Real Memory and 3.0 GB of Virtual Memory. As I was quitting and quitting more applications, Yojimbo was eating up the newly released memory.
Help would be much much appreciated!
Marcel
