I was always under the impression that an explicit 'Save' of the database, while possible, was not necessary.
However, today I noticed that after editing a note and quitting the app without a Save, my changes were gone. After some more experimenting, it seems that the crux is that a Note gets automatically saved only when you exit it and view something else. Quitting the application apparently does not trigger an 'auto-save' for the current Note.
Is this by design? It seems a little non-intuitive when autosaving sometimes happens and sometimes does not.
Thanks, Jan Pieter Kunst
