I'm writing an AppleScript to delete duplicate items in Yojimbo (bookmarks and Web Archives that share a common destination).
What I have is this:
1) Compile a list of the locations and source URLs of the bookmarks and Web Archives 2) Discover which are duplicated 3) Delete all but one of the resulting items
Heres my problem:
I use this (where toDelete is a list of item IDs):
repeat with i from 1 to number of items in toDelete set this_item to item i of toDelete move item this_item to collection "Trash" end repeat

and it doesn't delete!
I try "move item this_item to trash" and it doesn't work either. I also tried passing the toDelete as a list (in one pass without a looping repeat) but now it doesn't delete either.
What is the prefered manner to address a DB item and send it to the trash? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Yojimbo Talk" group.
